How to Correct Errors in Ms Word
By
default, Word alerts you if there are any contextual, spelling, or grammatical
errors when you write text in a document. Word alerts you in several ways for
various mistakes;
- The text will be highlighted in blue if the document contains any contextual errors.
- The document will highlight the content with a red line if there is any misspelling.
- The paper will highlight any grammar mistakes with a green line through the text.

Steps to correct errors:
- v Place the cursor over the text that you want to correct
- v Right click the mouse
- v A list of suggestions appears
- v Select the appropriate word by using the left click.

How to Check Word
Count in Ms Word
As soon
as you begin to type, Word counts the words and pages for you and displays the
results in the status bar. You can right-click the status bar and choose the
Word Count option from the menu if the word count is not displayed there. The
following are the basic steps to check the word count:
- v Open the document
- v Look at the document's bottom left
corner.
- v You will see the overall number of
pages and the world count.
